By creating an account or using Questiy (the “Service”) you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. Who can use the Service
The Service is built for parents, legal guardians, and (where the parent has provisioned a kid account) children aged 5–17. If you are a child you may only use the Service through a kid account your parent or guardian has set up for you. If you are between 13 and 17 in a jurisdiction that lets you sign up on your own, you must still have a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf.
2. Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account: keeping your password safe, the accuracy of the information you submit about your child, and the actions you authorise (for example, consenting to data collection or generating a portfolio share link).
3. Your data, your control
You retain ownership of every piece of content you upload — certificates, marksheets, photos, free-text entries, and the structured fields you fill in. We use that content only to provide and improve the Service, and only in the ways described in our privacy policy.
4. What we provide
We provide the Service on an “as is” basis. We aim for high availability and reliability, but we don’t promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, perfectly accurate, or appropriate for every decision a parent might make for their child. Trajectory projections are directional only and should never be the sole basis for a major life decision (stream choice, school selection, financial commitment).
5. What you must not do
- Upload content that you do not have the right to share (e.g. another family’s certificates, copyrighted material without permission).
- Use the Service to harass, dox, or compare other people’s children.
- Reverse-engineer the Service, scrape it, or interfere with its operation.
- Use the Service to make decisions you wouldn’t be comfortable explaining to your child later (this is a principle, not a rule, but we mean it).
6. Subscriptions and payments
The Service is paid. Pricing, billing cycle, and currency are shown at signup and on your account’s billing page. We do not show ads on any surface; we do not monetise your child’s data; the subscription is the only way the Service is funded. You can cancel any time; if you cancel mid-cycle we’ll continue service until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
7. Termination
You can close your account from settings at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account if it violates these terms, with notice except in cases where notice itself would cause harm (for example, ongoing harassment). On termination, we delete your data on the schedule described in the privacy policy.
8. Liability
We’ll always be honest about the confidence of our outputs (the number of data points behind a projection, the cohort size behind a percentile). To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
If we materially change these terms we’ll email the address on your account and give you at least 30 days to review them before they take effect. You can decline by closing your account before the effective date.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India (for accounts with an Indian residence), the United States (for US accounts), or your country of habitual residence (for EU/UK accounts). We’ll always try to resolve a dispute informally first — write to legal@questiy.comand a human will reply.
